Do you follow the declaration?

There have been countless examples of declarations throughout history. From individual ones that we make when changing our lives, to new nations declaring their independence such as the United States and of course others. There is also declarations from sub groups of a population about certain topics.

Some examples are from the Pro life Christians declaring in one voice every year when we peacefully march to declare that we are calling for the end of the killing of babies in the womb. We also know of the Black lives Matter organization/movement that has declared they’re done with what they view as Police brutality in the United States, by marching across the nation(some have rioted but it seems to have calmed down a little at the moment). I agree with the phrase “black lives matter” , but the organization is very unbiblical. Just look at the organizations website and it is completely against the Bible’s standards. In either case though, it is an example of a declaration and a movement that follows it.

So what each of the above declarations have with it, is followers that agree with what the declaration is about. The United States declared their independence and its still in existence today, there are millions that follow Pro life matters and Black lives matters. That is the reason why people remember these declarations, since there are so many followers of them. We don’t remember a declaration of one person in some foreign country, we remember the big followings that comes with them.

“concerning His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who was a descendant of David according to the flesh and who has been declared to be the powerful Son of God by the resurrection from the dead according to the Spirit of holiness.”

Romans 1:3-4

Hcsb Bible

Just like these declarations mentioned, God also declared his presence on Earth several times, but the final declaration was and is the most memorable. The declaration of being the Son of God, by raising himself from the dead. If there has ever been a more amazing declaration, I don’t know of it.

His declaration is the reason why we can call ourselves saved. His declaration is the reason why we have a way to heaven. His declaration is the reason why some have not killed themselves, because it gives them purpose. His declaration has done more than can be written on any one post. His declaration has the most followers(by own admission) in the entire world as of this date(June 8, 2020).

So I have to ask you, what declaration do you follow? Do you follow a countries declaration? Do you follow a movements declaration? Or do you follow the declaration that changed history? The declaration that not just changed history, but changed how we look at the world, especially in the western world.

Just an average guy that loves Jesus, football and wanting to learn more about God everyday. I post my devotions and lessons on here to gather my thoughts together. So if I make a mistake, tell me and if you know places where I can learn more, tell me that too. I hope y’all have a great day.
