Don’t hide the truth

So a lot of people like to believe in many different things. From small things like what is their favorite football team, to political parties, all the way to what religion they decide to follow. In a lot of cases, when confronted with something that don’t like, they either mock the difference or at worst try to kill what is different from what they don’t believe.

In almost every case that they don’t believe in the true God, they try to hide or ignore the truth.

“For God’s wrath is revealed from heaven against all godlessness and unrighteousness of people who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth, since what can be known about God is evident among them, because God has shown it to them.”

Romans 1:18-19

Unfortunately there is a objective truth that is true and nothing else is true if it contradicts it. A lot of people try to say that there is many truths or say something like ‘ I believe my truth and you believe yours’. This is just one way that people try to mask and hide the truth.

Another way that people try to hide the truth is whenever confronted with the truth, they try to argue it away even though it is staring them right in the face. Jesus even said that if they didn’t believe the word of God when given the Gospel like came with Moses, they wouldn’t believe if Jesus did miracles(Luke 16:31). Though this was in a parable, it just goes to show you the darkness that’s in peoples hearts.

They will come up with all sorts of arguments against God, that on their surface make a little bit of sense such as, “the problems of evil and suffering in the world, if there is a loving God”. Also they come up with the bogus claim that science has disproven God, when in reality shows the more complexities of an intelligent creator that couldn’t have been done by accident. They also even try to say Jesus didn’t exist, but even the most hardened atheist has to admit his existence if they are honest to history.

People will always try and ignore or lie about the truth. Even when God is judging an evil people in the Old Testament or even in modern day, they will rally against God. They will portray the people being judged as normal innocent people or even as defenseless when in reality, they were the murderers and rapists and hitlers of their time.

They sometimes do this with the people that lived in Canaan when God told Joshua to wipe them out. They say they were innocent. The problem is that they weren’t. They would offer their children on an altar to die on a daily basis to appease their gods for better crops and such. They wild destroy the family as well. They were murderers and adulterers destroying society on top of other things I can’t remember I cannot remember at the moment.

So as believers, don’t fret when you hear a lie about the Bible or God, for they are doing this as sons of Satan their master. But also don’t let your actions hide the truth of God in your life by treating them as other nonbeliever’s do.

Also don’t believe the arguments against the Bible. Hear them, research them and come to a better understanding of God. It’s very easy to believe the lies as most of society might be against you. But after you dive deep into the word and the science, culture and history behind it, the truth will come out for you to know.
