Hey everyone I hope you are doing well today. In this time of contention and fighting between each other on important issues that face our world, there is a lot of hypocrisy from people. It really doesn’t matter what side of any issue there is, there’s hypocrisy. Well to be honest with you, it’s a fact of life.
Both sides see themselves as righteous warriors for their causes as they type away and even protest in the streets. So who exactly is righteous? Well to figure that out, we need to define what righteousness is.

“All those who sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all those who sinned under the law will be judged by the law. For the hearers of the law are not righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be declared righteous.”
Romans 2:12-13
Hcsb Bible.
Is righteousness when you are doing a lot of good things? Or is it when you convince as many people to your side of thinking? Or is it even when you have studied so much about a subject that you can’t be matched in your studious prowess? Or let’s be honest, it’s when you know the Bible like the back of your hand and you can recite the entire Bible from memory. That’s surely what righteousness is.
Well let’s look at the passage, shall we? It’s not just those that know the law(the Bible), but those that actually act on it and live out what the Bible says in its total context. In order to do the law of God, you first have to know it to an extent, so that knocks out those that are disobeying what the Bible says even if it’s for “social justice”.
But also, let’s look at those that know the law so well that they can read it to you from memory. At least the ones that are so vocal about it on Facebook and other social media platforms. Not saying being vocal is wrong, it’s actually encouraged if you are doing it for God and his kingdom against true injustice. But let’s be like Christ when we do this.
When I say that, be firm in the truth, but don’t be a complete jerk about it or cursing the other person(remember your words on the Internet never go away. So your actions now can tarnish your Godly reputation even to those you aren’t talking to). Be respectful, but also call out heresies. During your vocal days, make sure you yourself are living out the word of God.
Are you in the word daily, are you applying what the word of God says to do? Be bold but show truth in love and live out your life according to the word and the law of God. Be righteous, not a social justice warrior. Be righteous, not just a keyboard warrior. Be righteous and follow the word of God in its full context and you can be both a keyboard warrior and faithful servant of God.
So today, what are you doing about the law? What part of the law of God are you trying to correct yourself today? Be honest and follow God.
