In life, you will encounter a thousand different situations. Some good, some bad and some are decisions that you don’t quite know what to do. In each of those situations, you’ll need guidance and protection. In good times, protection from your own pride and self importance, Bad times because you might feel down or feel like the world is against you and need support. And the grey areas is where I usually I need God The most because it’s at those times that I wish he would come down and just tell me exactly what to do since I sometimes struggle with indecision.
No matter the situation though, you can always go to him and he will be there for you in your time of need or abundance. You can’t say that about anything else you might go to for comfort. Your friends, spouse or girlfriend or boyfriend, alcohol, drugs, sex, possessions. Each of them will eventually disappoint you and not be there. God will be there no matter what.
So my question for you and myself as well, where do you go? Or better yet, who do you go to?
